After a study by the market research institute EITO (European Information Technology Observatory) at the end of last year, 60 per cent of all Germanys went online last year. Although the Germans were above the west European average (53 per cent) but still clearly behind the USA (76 per cent), Great Britain and Scandinavian Countries like Denmark (77 per cent). It's expected that in the next 2.5 years approx 10 per cent Germans will go online, by 2010 69 per cent of all the Germans will be surfing the World Wide Web.
